Common Conditions
Osteosarcoma
This is the most common primary bone tumour arises from cells which make abnormal bone. It is most common is patients under 20 years old and occurs at the ends of long bones. It is usually treated with chemotherapy and surgery.

Ewings Sarcoma
This is a malignant tumour which can form in either bone or soft tissue. It commonly affects the femur, humerus and pelvis and is most often seen in teenagers. It is treated with a combination of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and/or surgery.

Chondrosarcoma
Chondrosarcoma is a rare primary bone tumour which form from cells which begin to produce abnormal cartilage. This is a tumour which predominantly affects older people and most commonly develops femur, humerus and pelvis. The treatment of chrondrosarcoma is surgical.
Soft Tissue Sarcoma
These are tumours which form in the deep soft tissues outside of the bones. These include fat, nerves, blood vessels, muscles, and tissue that surround joints. There are over 70 types of soft tissue sarcomas and their treatment varies depending on their subtype but will often involve a combination of radiation therapy and surgery.
